This is a recently completed kitchen in a house on one of the walking streets in Venice. We replaced the old dark stained doors with pre-finished euro maple. The edge detail gives it a very contemporary, scandinavian look. All the sides and face frames were re-veneered and sprayed on location.
Note the detail of the original slide out cutting board, which the homeowner used all the time, with new maple to match !
All drawer boxes were replaced with pre-finished plywood boxes for easy cleaning.
This house, part of a four unit, was built about 14 years ago on by a contractor, on spec. He went out of business halfway through, so a low end kitchen was installed just to sell it. We went in and for cheaper than a new kitchen, made the whole thing work really well…
